Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Award for Uplifting Human Values
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's message of compassion, commitment to society, and a universal understanding of life, has resounded in the lives of millions worldwide. Through the regeneration of human values, he seeks global peace and development by bringing about sustained individual commitment to joyful living, selfless service and self-awareness. He has put this into action by creating the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values. The Art of Living Foundation is represented in 140 countries, making it amongst the largest United Nations’ accredited organizations in the world.
As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Art of Living Foundation has established the Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Award for Uplifting Human Values. This Award seeks to recognize members of our society who have demonstrated their commitments to improve human values in our communities hence create a better world.
